Tending to the day’s agenda, Whitney Port was spotted out and about in the West Village of New York City on Thursday (June 3).
Always looking stylish, the MTV vixen was rocking a striped shirt and a pleated skirt as she quickly passed by the always-present paparazzi.
The sighting comes shortly after another new episode of “The City” aired on MTV, during which Miss Port showed off her Whitney Eve line to the distaste of her viewers.
As for what went down, Whitney showed off her complete collection to Elle’s creative director, Joe Zee, and fashion news director, Anne Slowey, after which she almost ended up in tears after the duo’s appraisal of the collection.
Saying that she’s tired of rejection, the reality starlet seemed to be contemplating calling it quits in the fashion world.

Newbie fashion designer Whitney Port got slammed for her inexperienced eye on tonight’s episode of “The City” (and it wasn’t the first time). After scoring an opportunity to show her complete collection to ELLE’s creative director, Joe Zee, and fashion news director, Anne Slowey, Whit left the appointment feeling completely defeated by editrix Slowey’s harsh appraisal. (At least Zee doled out some constructive criticism!)
Whitney now says she’s fed up with rejection, so is it time for her to retire as a designer … or should she pick her head up and press on?

Always up for a night on the town, Whitney Port was among the stars turning up for the “Saturday Night Live” afterparty in Downtown, Manhattan on Saturday (December 5).

Joined by a gal pal, the MTV reality star meandered over to Abe & Arthur’s Restaurant in the Meatpacking District – joining in on the fun-filled fete which also brought out Rihanna and Blake Lively.

In related news, Miss Port recently chatted about the second season of her show “The City,” which saw the finale air this past week.

“I think I had a couple best moments. I think our most fun moments were just Roxy and I goofing off, like the cake fight and the dancing to Beyoncé. I think that when we were really ourselves, that’s the most fun for us. I think my lowest point was probably in the finale. I think it was really tough, obviously, to show my first collection ever to Bergdorf’s, and I got a bunch of criticism. Whether it was constructive or not, it was hard for me to take, because those clothes are my babies, basically. So it was hard, but I think with all these experiences, it’s all about learning and taking the positive from it.”

Out celebrating the end of show’s season, the cast of “The City” partied the night away on December 2 in New York City.

Spotted on their way in were “The City” gals, with Whitney Port, Samantha Swetra, and Roxy Olin all looking their New York best. And just last night, it was announced that The City will be back for another season.

Getting prettied up with a stop at the salon, Whitney Port was spotted out in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (December 1).

Just ahead of tonight’s second season finale of “The City”, the 24-year-old MTV reality star strolled along past paparazzi on her way back home following a the day’s beauty session.

Talking about getting the opportunity to show off her very own line at Bergdorf Goodman in tonight’s finale, which airs at 10PM on MTV, Miss Port recently told the LA Times

“It was very scary for me, because there aren’t a lot of designers who show their first collection to Bergdorf. I obviously was really, really nervous and didn’t know if I was prepared. I had faith in my line, but I wasn’t even sure the line was ready to show to them. I didn’t have my hopes set at a very high level, because of that. Basically they gave me a lot of constructive criticism. They thought my Los Angeles aesthetic shined through the line a little too much. It was a learning experience for me. It’s just difficult because it’s all being shown on-camera. I’m getting judgments and opinions by more people than the norm.”

Later asked if she continues to set boundaries to keep her personal life private, as she did on “The Hills,” Whitney revealed, “Basically, I decided I was going to take it day by day. I knew that if I decided to do “The City” that they were going to ask more of me than just going to work. I knew that if the show was going to be successful in this reality/soap opera arena, I was going to have to show a little bit more.”

“What happened with me, which really opened up my comfort zone, was meeting Jay [Lyon] when I first went to New York. We were actually filming for “The Hills.” I instantly felt so comfortable and confident with him. He was actually willing to do the show and that just made it OK to do it for some reason. He just made it seem so carefree.”

The MTV reality cutie headed on over to Voyeur, partying with the likes of Samantha Ronson at the popular Los Angeles nightspot.
